Days Of Our Lives Comings and Goings: James Lastovic Returns To DOOL, Joey Back In Salem – We Tell You When

NBC Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that Salem’s Johnson family is about to swell by one. No, Dr. Rolf (William Utay) didn’t figure out a secret way to implant a baby Stefano into Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), it’s her son Joey Johnson (James Lastovic) who’s coming to town.

Joey Johnson departed Salem in 2017 when he was sent to the slammer for killing Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Ava is definitely not dead, she has been slinking around town getting up to mischief with a couple of co-conspirators.

But all that’s about to change and when it does, voila, Joey has no reason to be cooling his jets in prison stripes.

Days of our Lives spoilers – Joey Johnson is back in Salem

The good news is that Lastovic will be seen as Joey on December 10, 2020. At that time he is visiting with his mom and dad Patch Johnson (Stephen Nichols).

In 2015 the character of Joey (James Lastovic) was rapidly aged to 16 when Lastovic debuted in the role. He came back after having dropped out of boarding school, wanting to be around mom and dad instead of some stuffy old Harry Potter-esque professors.

Joey was, shall we say, impressionable. This allowed Ava to latch onto him like a barnacle on a pretty boat and get him to manipulate his parents. Joey had no idea at the time that Ava was his father’s ex and bad news. The first time around Joey and Ava managed to cause of sorts of trouble in the Johnson household, so the second rodeo in Salem for these two should be pretty eventful.

Days of our Lives spoilers – What will happen next in Salem?

In March 2017 Lastovic’s mother, Lucienne, posted a mysterious tweet that her son’s contract with the series had not been renewed. Then on August 16, the rumor was shown to be true when Lastovic confirmed the news in an Instagram post. We last saw him on August 22 when the character said goodbye to Salem and went to prison for Ava’s murder.

Joey’s brother Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) is also back to town and he has quite an explosive reunion with his biological mom. No doubt she will take his side in the rape case he has been caught up in. Patch also believes his son is innocent which could cause the parents to form an alliance.
