Judi Evans will return on “Days of Our Lives” not as the late Adrienne Kiriakis but as Bonnie Lockhart. The character was last seen on screen in 2018 when she left town and went into hiding.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Judi Evans Exits DOOL as Adrienne Kiriakis

Many fans were left disappointed when news broke that Adrienne would be killed off. They’ve always loved seeing her and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) together. Fortunately, fans will soon see their favorite celebrity back in action but as the hilarious Bonnie. For now, viewers can still see Evans portray the role of Adrienne in the coming months as she appears in flashback scenes as her character’s death plays out.

In the coming weeks, viewers will start seeing more of Bonnie. Her return was already teased when Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) was revealed to be engrossed in Bonnie’s new memoir, Love Made Me Looney. With Hattie set to get out of the slammer soon, she and Bonnie may once again find themselves in trouble. Fans just have to wait and see what would bring Bonnie back to town and what storyline she’ll be involved in.

DOOL Spoilers – Acting Credits and Accolades

Evans debuted on the show as Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis back in 1986 and she’s been a regular cast member until 1991. Before that, she portrayed the role of Beth Raines on the CBS show “Guiding Light” from 1983 to 1986. She also became part of the NBC series “Another World” as Paulina Cory Carlino from 1991 until 1999.

The American actress returned to “Days of Our Lives” from 2003 until 2007, not as Adrienne, but as Bonnie Lockhart. In 2008, she briefly reprised her role as Adrienne and she made a sporadic appearance in the show ever since.

Evans received several accolades for her excellent performance. In 1984, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in “Guiding Light.” In 2008, she got nominated for Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her excellent work on “Days of our Lives”

She also earned nominations for a Soap Opera Digest Award in 1986 and 1993. In 1998, she won Soap Opera Digest Award Outstanding Supporting Actress for “Another World.” In 2005, she brought home the Soap Opera Digest Award Favorite Return for “Days of our Lives.”
