Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) is returning for the Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) tribute.

During an interview with TV Insider, the actress discussed coming back to set, honoring Bill as well as if fans will ever see Hope and Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) reunite. Keep reading and let’s discuss what the actress had to say about coming back to the Peacock soap.

Bill Hayes’ Death

DOOL spoilers reveal that Bill’s death hit the cast, crew, and fans hard. Bill (and his character, Doug) have been part of Salem for decades. Due to the soap’s advanced production schedule, Bill’s tribute won’t come until winter 2024. However, there is already a long list of actors coming back to the soap to honor Bill. 

Doug Williams Tribute

Kristian said during the interview that her return to the soap is bittersweet. As fans know, Doug was Hope’s on-screen father. In fact, the actress confirmed that her first day back on set was on April 22, 2024. 

“My return is very bittersweet, because it is the end of an era with Bill gone. So to return to Days is very sad. I am appreciative that they came to me to include me in their series of shows honoring Doug and I’m very happy to see everyone, but I’m entering the studio with a heavy heart.”

Kristian Alfonso’s Regret

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Kristian couldn’t give any major details or spoilers. However, the actress did say that head writer Ron Carlivati had a storyline in 2023 that was either shelved or changed. Kristian explained that it was the storyline that would reunite families. In that storyline, Kristian would have shared scenes with Bill. 

“What Ron had written was beautiful and emotional and it was a fantastic story. I was 100 percent for it and the fans would have loved it.”

Unfortunately, that storyline never aired.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Hope Brady’s Comeback

Kristian spoke about going back to the set and reuniting with Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa “Missy” Reeves), Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). 

Kristian did mention that Hope and Roman have a “sweet moment.” 

As for if Hope and Bo will ever reunite on DOOL, Kristian simply said for fans to never lose hope.
