Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings: Shawn Christian Returns To DOOL

Viewers of “Days of Our Lives” will see a familiar face as Shawn Christian is set to return to the show as Daniel Jonas. Last seen back in 2016, the actor will reprise his role in the sudser’s April 1 episode. In 2017, Daniel made a brief appearance as a vision for Eric and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).

Fans may recall that Daniel was on life support following a terrible car accident. He and his brother Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) was driving a car when Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) crashed into them because he was drunk driving. On January 6, 2016, his alter ego was taken off life support and his heart was given to Brady.  It’s safe to assume that Daniel will most liekly be back in a dream or as a ghost, but stranger things have happened in Salem.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the week of March 30 hint that there will be a lot of shockers, especially on April 1. Of course, the date will play a huge part in everything but viewers have to wait and see. Here are a few things that fans can expect.

Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will see an unexpected guest and she may not even be expecting that mystery person to be alive all this time. This could pave the way for Daniel’s return to Salem. But it doesn’t seem like he will back in town for good. Remember, the episode will be aired on April Fools’ Day.

Meanwhile, “Days of Our Lives” spoilers for March 26 tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will do what his father wants. Stefano DiMera aka Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) asked Chad to help him prepare a little family reunion. He’ll be making a huge announcement and it’s about his plans to make Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) his wife.

Stefano will pop the question but Marlena will be caught off guard. Plus, they have to deal with one huge problem, she’s still tied to John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

Back with Chad, he’ll manage to convince Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) to attend the family gathering. Tony will bring Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley), who’ll be reluctant at first because she doesn’t like Stefano at all. But Tony will manage to convince her eventually.
