In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, the magazine confirms when we will see Ciara Brady’s last scene. Plus, we have information on how the fan-favorite character will leave Salem. DOOL coming and goings reveal that Konefal will last appear on Wednesday, August 26. This is the same day that Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) will be on-screen. While Eve is arrested, Ciara goes missing, per Soap Opera Digest. It seems that after Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) tries to strangle his new wife, he snaps out of it and has no idea where she is.

Ciara Brady’s Disappearance

While Ciara’s body isn’t found suggests she is still alive, where does she go? Could she end up so traumatized and terrified by nearly being killed by Ben that she vanishes? Do Eve and Vincent (Michael Teh) end up stashing her somewhere? Or is there something else going on entirely regarding Ciara’s vanishing?

DOOL Spoilers – Possible Scenarios

We do know that Ben will be questioned by Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Now, Hope will leave Salem on October 15, so if Ciara goes missing, then perhaps she will go to track down a lead. Or this could give the soap time to recast Ciara, although we have a hard time picturing anyone but Konefal playing the part.

Comings and Goings: Life After ‘Cin’

Ben is going to have to deal with what he did — or almost did — to the woman that he loves most in this world. In Soap Opera Digest, Wilson talked about Konefal’s exit and hinted that he hoped she would return. He also mentioned that he would like to see how Ben stands on his own two feet without Ciara by his side. After all, Ciara has been with Ben ever since his release from Bayview, so his mental health recovery has always had her support.

Can he survive losing Ciara and not knowing her fate, as well as Eve’s brainwashing? Or could these two big events destroy the reformed serial killer? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to find out.
