Days of Our Lives: Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn Hint Jarlena’s Future

“Days of Our Lives” fan favorites, Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn, who portray Marlena Evans and John Black, reveal crucial details on their characters’ future during an Instagram Live session. The two actors answered the questions asked by fans over on the official Instagram page of “Days of Our Lives.”

Unlike many actors these days, Hogestyn isn’t hooked on Instagram. He tries to avoid it as much as he can but of course, he cannot refuse an invitation especially by fans of the soap. Moreover, his partner, Hall, will only do the live session with Hogestyn. The two have been working together on “Days of Our Lives” for more than thirty years. All these years, the two have developed a special bond on-screen and off-screen.

During the live session, Hogestyn and Hall have thanked their fans for voting them as their favorite couple during Valentine’s Day. They also took the time to apologize for making them wait so long to do this. The pair answered questions covering differing topics. They also hinted that they will all be together during the holidays. “Days of Our Lives” shoot scenes really early and the pair was happy to announce that they just shot the episode for New Year’s Eve.

They also teased that they will have house guests. However, they didn’t reveal who they are so it is up to the fans, for now, to speculate who the guests will be. Hogestyn also addressed concerns about his grey hair and said he let it happen after his back to back brain injuries. The pair talked about ad-libbing lines and so much more.

Days of Our Lives – Jarlena’s Future On DOOL

Deidre Ann Hall was first introduced to soap opera audiences when she appeared as Barbara on “The Young and the Restless” back in 1973. She was also cast on the children’s show “Electra Woman and Dyna Girl” in 1976. She then landed the role as Dr. Marlena Evans on “Days of Our Lives,” which helped her rise to fame.

Meanwhile, Hogestyn entered the TV industry after he became one of the 30 winners of a talent search through Columbia Pictures. He was cast on “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.” He then landed the role of Roman Brady in “Days of Our Lives,” after its original portrayer Wayne Northrop left. He was then known as The Pawn and then played the role John Black when Northrop returned to the soap.
