Days Of Our Lives Disappears Again For Winter Olympics

Days Of Our Lives Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal another long cliffhanger coming this winter as the Salem soap will be off the air for two weeks as NBC airs the Winter Olympics.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Two Weeks Of Suspense

What, you ask yourself? Wasn’t DOOL already pre-empted for the Olympics a few months ago. How can it happen again so soon? Well, if you recall the Summer Olympics in Tokyo was postponed a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, so now we get the Winter Olympics, which were already scheduled for 2022. However, this is the first time NBC will pre-empt DAYS for the winter version of these games.

Days of Our Lives won’t be seen from February 4-18, with new episodes returning on February 21. That means we will only get nine new episodes of the soap during the crucial February sweeps period, but we expect we’ll get a great suspenseful cliffhanger again so that fans can’t wait to pick up right where they left off on 2/21/22.

DOOL Spoilers – The End Of Satan In Salem?

Clearly, November sweeps isn’t going to take care of Salem’s pesky little Satan problem since we know MarDevil (Deidre Hall) or whoever else The Devil possesses in the meantime will still be causing trouble at Christmas, so wouldn’t it be amazing if DOOL starts the exorcism before the Olympic break and finishes it after and we won’t know what odd things will happen and who will survive for weeks.

As it stands now, The Devil is trying to destroy John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s love by having John fall for The Devil’s seduction as OG Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson) while the other Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is doing her best to try to get Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to break her out of jail.

Satan is sure to stir up lots of trouble before February, especially with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) looking forward to giving birth to their baby, not realizing that their baby is really Satan’s spawn. Will the Olympic-size cliffhanger also have to do with the Cin baby? In soap time, she should be ready to give birth by then. Stay tuned to Days of Our Lives weekdays and whenever you can in February to find out.
