Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that once again, Anna DiMera (LeAnn Hunley) will play a pivotal role in making things right in Salem! As viewers know, Anna wasn’t fooled in the least by Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). She immediately took an interest in the DiMera’s new nanny and it wasn’t long before she suspected the truth, that Gwen was out to destroy Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and everyone she loves. Anna shared her suspicions with Abigail, which will lead to Gwen finally being found out.

It’s easy to underestimate Anna, as she can come across as scatterbrained. But the truth of the matter is that Anna is one of the most resourceful people to ever set foot in Salem. She refused to believe that her true love, Tony DiMera (Thaoo Penghlis) was dead, even though he was gone over a decade. She carried around the urn the supposedly contained Tony’s ashes the whole time. But deep down, Anna never gave up on Tony who finally returned to his beloved wife.

DOOL Spoilers – Anna DiMera And Her High Heels!

In addition, it wasn’t all that long ago that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) believed that he was actually Stefano DiMera (the late Joseph Mascolo) thanks to a chip implanted in his brain by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay). Anna and Abigail snuck into the compound where the DiMera family had gathered for “Stevano’s” wedding to a kidnapped Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). As the gathered DiMera tried to stop the brainwashed Steve, it was finally Anna who hit Steve with her stiletto heel, taking out his eye in the process. This put an end to Steve’s reign of terror in Salem, and Dr. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) was then able to restore Steve to his old self.

Salem needs Anna! She brings a much needed humor to the DiMera family, who are much too serious at times. And Abigail needs someone around who can absolutely trust, and Anna has proven to be one of Abigail’s biggest allies. Anna and Tony are a couple who have proven time and time again that they are stronger than anyone who tries to harm their family in any way!
