Steve cares about Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and feels he staged Victoria Horton’s kidnapping to play the hero in front of Maggie. Steve is only partially correct, though. There is a lot more to Victoria’s kidnapping and Konstantin’s scheme.
