Days of Our Lives’ Franco Lo Presti Talks Working With Alison Sweeney, Dante’s Storyline + MoreDays of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Franco Lo Presti has made a splashy entrance into Salem storylines as Dante Vitali, Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) fiancé. The actor recently spoke with SoapSteph’s Daytime Dish newsletter, talking about his time on the Peacock soap.

Loving Daytime Drama Life

Lo Presti told SoapSteph that he’s had a lot of fun so far on Days. He notes that working with Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans), Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera), and the Brady family has been enjoyable.

The actor added, “Being of Italian descent, it’s always fun to play things that are close to the heart. And I definitely enjoy a lot of the dramatic moments that I’m sure the audience will as well.”

The Sami Brady Factor

Although fans haven’t seen the two interact yet, Dante is Sami’s new love interest. According to SoapSteph, Lo Presti and Sweeney filmed scenes, but viewers won’t see them “together” until 2027, presumably when Sami makes her splashy hometown return in June.

When asked about working together, Lo Presti stated it was “incredible.”

The actor added, “What a pro, what a pro. She was super kind.”

He went on to say, “It was amazing just to see her seamlessly weave into Sami Brady.”

Lo Presti also revealed, “… at times I’d be like, ‘Okay, I’m in the scene, but she’s freaking amazing, but I’m in the scene.’ It was that kind of feeling. She was so nice, so gracious, and it was really a privilege to get to work alongside her.”

In addition to his new daytime drama gig, the actor also recently became a father, welcoming daughter Stella into the world with wife Emily Alatalo this past August.

Needless to say, between work and family, he’s got a full plate. Lo Presti noted that he feels so rich now because of everything he has.

He noted, “Sometimes I can’t even process if it’s actually real.”
