Days Of Our Lives’ Jackée Harry Talks Paulina’s Strategy To Win Abe’s Heart

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Abe Carver (James Reynold) is quite the pickle. While he’s happily married to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), the other love of his life, Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford), recently came back from the dead, which leaves him with quite the difficult choice on his hands.

He’s been procrastinating on deciding between the two women, but he’ll eventually need to choose at some point soon. James Reynold and Jackée Harry recently spoke with Soaps.com about this sticky love triangle.

Abe Carver’s Impossible Decision

Reynolds tells Soaps.com that Abe’s in a tough spot; however, Paulina is making it easier by giving him his space. As the actor puts it, “… she’s willing to go against her own self-interest.”

Still, while she is supporting him through his feelings, fans shouldn’t expect Paulina to just lay down and admit defeat. Harry states that ‘heck ya,’ Paulina will fight for Abe and their love, adding, “… she has pride as any woman does. She’s not gonna play hard to get. It’s not gonna be easy, but she’s fighting for him. She’s letting him know, I’m in line!”

Who Will Abe Carver Choose?

Days of Our Lives spoilers remind fans that Abe admitted to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) during the Tuesday, May 19 show that Lexie was his “great love”, but a lot has changed since she passed away close to 14 years ago.

Reynolds tells Soaps.com, “It’s so hard because these are two women that he loves deeply. He’s walking around feeling horrible.”

He adds, “I mean, inside, every time he sees Paulina, his heart just drops. He goes to Lexie, and his heart just drops.”

Harry points out, “You can’t love two people at the same time. Not even in daytime!”

So, as hard as it’s going to be, Abe will have to make a choice. With that said, Lexie’s instability in navigating through this “new world”, plus their past love, may tug at Abe’s heartstrings.

On the other hand, Abe’s love with Paulina, everything they’ve been through, and the family they’ve built together, could have him gearing toward her.
