Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note trouble on the horizon for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). The soap’s winter preview which was dropped in early November during its “Day of Days” annual fan event revealed that sometime soon, someone will shoot EJ. As DOOL viewers have been speculating about who is possibly behind the gun that targets DiMera, a recent scene now offers a massive clue.

Days spoilers remind fans that Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) returned to Salem during the Christmas Eve episode.

Longtime viewers may remember Arnold as the thug EJ and Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) once hired to ruin Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) relationship with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), many years ago.

The man underwent plastic surgery to look like Rafe and while everyone believed he was dead; it turned out that they faked his passing on the off chance they could use his services sometime in the future.

They gave Arnold a ton of money to hide away in Argentina; however, the money has since been spent, and the criminal is looking for more. EJ refused this request, but it sounds like this was the wrong move.

He successfully managed to convince Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), who walked into the DiMera living room, that he was Rafe, so how much chaos can Arnold cause before EJ decides to pay up?.

Days Spoilers – Rafe Hernandex Versus Arnold Feniger

DOOL spoilers for the week of December 30-January 3 suggest that Arnold will have a confrontation with Rafe, and as the days go by, he’ll try to convince Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) that he’s her fiancé, but Jada will feel as if something is “off”.

Sounds like during his confrontation with Rafe, Arnold may overtake the cop-turned-PI, potentially kidnap him, and start running around as Hernandez, once again.

Getting back to EJ’s shooting, as the DiMera refused to pay off Arnold for the second time, could he end up being the one to shoot EJ in the mansion?

Resident villain, Clyde Weston (James Read), is currently in a coma, and the show seems to be setting Arnold up as the new major bad guy in Salem, so will he be pushed to his limits enough to try and eliminate EJ?
