Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Louise Sorel Returns As Vivian Alamain

In the wake of John Aniston’s death, Days Of Our Lives has featured the return of many characters who interacted with John’s role as Victor Kiriakis. And spoilers via People reveal that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) will number among those returning. Vivian was married to Victor for a short period.

Vivian will return to Salem in the Friday, Sept. 8 episode. And her mission involves stirring “up trouble” after the death of her ex-husband Victor. Sorel began her role as Vivian on Days Of Our Lives in 1992. And she remained in that role up until 2000.

However, Louise then returned to Days Of Our Lives in the same role from 2009 to 2011. And she appeared again from 2017 to 2018. Sorel made her most recent appearance as Vivian in 2020.

However, other actresses also have taken on the role of Vivian. And those stars include Marj Dusay, Robin Strasser and Linda Dano. Vivian’s short marriage to Victor ended when he abandoned her for her rival Kate Roberts (portrayed first by Deborah Adair and then Lauren Koslow).

Victor made his final appearance in an episode that aired as a tribute to John Aniston in December 2022. It streamed on Peacock a month after his death at age 89 on Nov. 11, 2022. But in many ways, the current story lines revolving around Victor also honor Aniston. For instance, Jen Lilley returned as Theresa Donovan to help bid farewell to Victor.

But for John Aniston’s daughter, actress Jennifer Aniston, bidding farewell means something very personal. And in an Instagram post, she called him “”Sweet Papa. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew,” she added. “I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace — and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now. ️I’ll love you till the end of time⁣.”

Days Of Our Lives co-creator Ken Corday also shared his insights. “There is no question that all of us at Days will be mourning this great and profound loss. John was an icon,” noted Corday. “But even more so, he was a pillar of strength and unity for our Days of Our Lives community. He, along with our ‘Victor Kiriakis,’ will forever be in our hearts.”
