Days of Our Lives News: Brandon Barash Reveals If Stefan Will Ever Return To Salem

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will die next week after being shot. In an interview, the actor discussed the storyline and why his character had to say goodbye. He explained that there are no hard feelings, but he was told the storyline and character are “moving on.”

DOOL spoilers reveal that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will struggle with Stefan’s prognosis. Even though Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) was able to get his heart started again, he’s brain dead and comatose. There is no chance for him to recover. In fact, things are so bad that Dr. Rolf (William Utay) can’t even bring him back from the dead.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Barash simply stated that “nothing’s permanent.” He didn’t specify exactly what he meant. This also doesn’t mean he will return, but is open to anything in the future.

If Stefan (or a lookalike) were to show up in the future, it wouldn’t be too shocking. After all, we are talking about a soap that resurrects the dead on a regular basis.

The Days of Our Lives actor mentioned that he was only supposed to be on the show for a month or two. However, it ended up turning into several months and fans fell in love with the character and his relationship with Gabi.

“I was very grateful for the time I had there. They just said they’re moving on with the character and the storyline. No ego here. I didn’t take it personally.”
