DOOL News: Judi Evans’ Health Update
From that fall, she was diagnosed with some cracked vertebrae, broken ribs, and a collapsed lung, per The Locher Room. However, it turns out that falling from the horse and being admitted to the hospital could have been a blessing in disguise.
The Days of Our Lives actress ended up being diagnosed with a dangerous condition that might not have gone undetected if she hadn’t been hospitalized.
Blood Clot On Lung Found
While hospitalized, doctors discovered a dangerous medical condition that was unrelated to her fall. She was diagnosed with a blood clot on her lung. She needs surgery on the rib and lung area.
The Days of Our Lives star’s publicist and longtime friend Howie Simon spoke to SoapHub about the star’s health emergency.
“[She] was supposed to have surgery on lungs/ribs yesterday but was delayed…Their main concern is her lungs and she will be [hospitalized for] a while for recovery especially with the [threat of] COVID and protecting her from pneumonia.
Days of Our Lives: Fall Was Blessing In Disguise?
Evans’ grandparents died from a similar condition. So, this horse fall just might have saved her life. There is a chance that the blood clot might not have been discovered otherwise. Thankfully, she is going to get this taken care of, and hopefully, she will be okay after this.
What do you think of Evans’ horse fall leading to the discovery of an unrelated health condition? Are you surprised she had a blood clot on the lung and needs surgery? We will continue to send our prayers and positive thoughts for Evans’! We hope the surgery goes smoothly with no complications and that she recovers quickly.
