Days Of Our Lives News: Kate Mansi’s Exciting New Job!

Kate Mansi, who successfully portrayed two identities, Abby and Gabby, on “Days of our Lives” lands an exciting role in an upcoming movie titled “The Office Mix-Up.” In the rom-com, formerly titled “Miss Staken,” was directed by Andrew Lawrence and written by John Burd.

Mansi will play the role of Lacey Keller, a brilliant individual whose talent rarely gets noticed. Lacey juggles two jobs to make ends meet. She works at her best friend’s jewelry store and as a night security guard at a marketing firm.

Her ideas for a struggling campaign piques the interest of the firm’s CEO, Mikey (Joey Lawrence) and his brother Greg (Matthew Lawrence), who’s trying to make a name for himself through the campaign. Lacey finally gets noticed but with a catch. Both men think the ideas came from Valerie Staken, an executive they wanted to hire but decided to work for another firm.

In dire need of much-needed cash to settle her piling bills, Lacey grabs the opportunity and pretends to be Valerie. As she continues to take on a different identity, she finds herself falling for Greg. Will she come clean to the man she loves and have a happy ending? Or will she tell the truth only to lose her job and the man she really likes?

Apart from posting the movie poster and captioned, “Comin’ atcha!!” on Instagram, she also shared behind-the-scenes photos from the film. Her co-star Joey Lawrence is known for his stint in sitcoms like “Blossom,” “Gimme a Break!,” and “Melissa & Joey.” Meanwhile, Matthew Lawrence’s acting credits include “Mrs. Doubtfire,” “The Hot Chick,” “Brotherly Love,” “Boy Meets World,” and “Dynasty.”

Apart from this exciting new film, fans of Mansi can catch her once again in “Days of Our Lives” as she is set to return to the soap along with Billy Flynn as Abigail Deveraux and Chad DiMera, respectively, this autumn. Viewers may recall that both Mansi and Flynn were last seen in the soap on February 21 when they got married and left for Europe.

What storylines both will be part of upon their return have not been revealed and the soap has not announced how long they will be around. Flynn started to play the role of Chad DiMera in 2104 while Mansi took on the role of Abigail from 2011 to 2016 and 2018 to 2019.
