Days Of Our Lives  – Matthew Ashford’s Mom Has Passed

Days of Our Lives Jack Deveraux has been fighting to get his daughter back after she starting hallucinating months also. Which Jake is doing his best to save his family, Matthew has suffered the loss of his eighty-nine-year-old mother Patricia. Matthew posted on his Twitter account that his mom passed away while he was onstage with Wally Kurth, Justin Kiriakis. While Matthew was working, he says his mother was with his dad and sister. He states, “She was lucid and peaceful.”

The long time Days actor goes on to say that his mother was probably the first actor he ever met and discussed how much she encouraged him. Ashford praises how his mother could even communicate after being rendered speechless by a stroke.

DOOL Spoilers – Matt Ashford ’s Love For His Mom Was Obvious On Social Media

Days of Our Lives Matthew’s mother would have been ninety-years-old next month on Halloween. Last year she had to have some fun by dawning a witches hat for her birthday and a shirt stating this is my most awesome grandma costume. Ashford posted it on his Instagram account last year to show off his awesome mom to his fans with the message “Still Enchanting.” Matthew’s love for his mother was obvious to his fans as well as other actors. Hopefully, Matthew will take solace in the condolences and well wishes from all of his followers at this most difficult time.

Matthew’s soap opera career began in 1982 when he joined the One Life To Live cast as Drew Ralston. Ashford also starred in Search For Tomorrow as Cagney McCleary and as Dr. Tom Hardy on General Hospital. Ashford also made guest appearances in several nighttime series including Charmed as well as Friends.

Ashford is a versatile actor who has played the role of Jack Deveraux off and on since 1988 when he was introduced as the adopted son of Harper Deveraux (Joseph Campanella). Jack was later revealed at Bill Jack Johnson, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nicole) younger brother. Ashford also starred in 66 episodes of the Bay as Stephen Jensen between 2010 and 2019.
