Days of Our Lives News: Nadia Bjorlin Injured, Gets Emergency Care From Plastic Surgeon

Instead of enjoying the festivities during the recent Fourth of July weekend, “Days of Our Lives” actress Nadia Bjorlin ended her week with a different experience. Bjorlin, who is known as Chloe Lane in the soap, had to have emergency stitches following a holiday weekend injury. She shared the news about the unfortunate incident on her Instagram account where she posted a photo of her getting treatment from a cosmetic surgeon.

Yes, you read it right—a cosmetic surgeon. The American actress, singer, and model hit her face on the door of the clothes dryer when she was doing laundry. Unfortunately, the accident left a mark on her face, which spells disaster for anyone who makes a living in front of the camera. Unlike regular individuals who can just go about their lives even if they have a bandaid on their faces, actors can’t afford to have a facial injury with visible marks since this can put a TV show or film project to a screeching halt.

Bjorlin said in her post, “Way to end a great holiday weekend…ugh…but thank you to my dear friend @beverly.hills.cosmetic.surgeon for driving to his office on a Sunday night to stitch up my face because I can’t properly transfer the washing into the dryer without hitting my face on the door of the dryer. That’s what I get for trying to be productive.” Her supporters immediately flocked to her account to express well wishes for her quick healing.

Her “Days of Our Lives” co-stars like Michelle Stafford, who plays Phyllis Summers, immediately commented on her post showing great concern over what happened to her friend. She said, “Wait!!!!! WTF!! I need to come over there!!!”

One particular fan named Angela joked around and said, “Just call it flesh-eating bacteria and throw a bandage over it” to which Bjorlin replied, “Well played, Angela…. well played….”

Viewers of “Days of Our Lives” may recall that Bjorlin’s alter ego, Chloe, suffered facial scarring in the past due to a flesh eating bacteria that Nicole Walker, portrayed by Arianne Zucker, exposed her to. Thankfully, Bjorlin’s injury was minor, and she’s recovering just fine.
