Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Peter Reckell Had Recently Lost His Mother As Well

The loss comes just over a year since Peter lost his mother, Barbara Reckell. At the time of her loss, Peter shared a powerful statement on social media, saying: “My mother was a powerful, compassionate, creative, giving person who will be missed by the many people she touched in her life. Thanks for all the loving thoughts. My family has pulled together to help each other and my father in this difficult time.”

DOOL Spoilers – Peter Reckell’s Wife Shared The News About His Father’s Death

It’s still too early for a statement by Peter about his father’s passing, but Peter’s Wife Kelly Moneymaker did post a message on Twitter about Russ’s passing. Kelly posted a picture of Russ and Peter along with the following message: “@peterreckell’s dad, Russ Reckell, departed peacefully and surrounded by love on June 27, 2020.”

Kelly continued: “Peter traveled safely back to MI to say his final goodbye. This is a pic from happier days when the Reckell men took a snow-machine trip together.” As you might know, Peter, Kelly, and their daughter Loden currently live in New Zealand, so Peter traveled quite a distance to be with Russ in his final days.

Peter’s and Kelly’s fans have been steadily tweeting their condolences to the pair in the wake of their loss. One person commented: “So sorry to hear this. Please pass all of my deepest sympathies to Peter and also yourself. It is so hard. My thoughts are with you both at this sad time. xx.”

Another fan commented: “Deepest condolences to you and your family. It doesn’t matter how old we are when we lose a parent…it’s a tremendous loss. With love and sympathy.” Finally, someone replied: “Sending my love and prayers to you and the whole Reckell family during this rough time. I’m very sorry for your loss.”
