Kristian is a multitalented woman who has worked as an actress, figure skater, and fashion model. But she arguably is best known for her longtime role as Salem’s Hope Brady. Together with Peter Reckell, they are one of the show’s all-time favorite super couples.

She recently announced her departure from the show, but fans will forever remember her fondly for the many years she spent gracing our screens, entertaining us through one after another dramatic storyline.

DOOL Spoilers – Kristian Alfonso Has Had A Career As A Model And Is A Gold Medal-Winning Figure Skater

Alfonso has a son from her marriage to Simon Macauley. In 2001 she married Danny Daggenhurst and they share two children.

In 2006, Alfonso created a jewelry line she called Hope Faith Miracles as well as a fashion line, called Hope by Kristian Alfonso. After ten years she sold the company.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers – Hope Brady Will Be Leaving Salem

Hope Brady will soon be leaving Salem and Days Of Our Lives but before then fans will savor every moment the star appears on the screen.

There will not be a big farewell as the star will leave without having filmed a goodbye. The show-stopped production in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will resume production in September but Kristian will not be back to film. According to reports, she was asked to take a multi-month absence from the show and but did not choose to accept the offer.

It remains to be seen what Salem will be like without Hope Brady, and it is highly unlikely that the show will recast such a significant and integral character. Hope is part of two core families, The William’s clan and the Brady bunch. Her daughter Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) is also leaving the sudser and it looks like there will be a hole in the canvas that will be hard to fill.

There is no word yet on whether or not the show will recast Ciara, who is currently MIA after having nearly met her maker at the hands of her brainwashed husband Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).

Fun fact: During her DOOL run, Kristian appeared as Hope in Season 6 of Friends in an episode titled, “The One That Could Have Been, Part 1.”
