Days of Our Lives stories have been all over the place this year. We have had seduction stories, attempted murders, unexpected pregnancies, near-deaths and deaths to be yet explained. What story needs to end? What are fans tired of? What simply needs to go ASAP?
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Gabi DiMera And The Pacemaker App
Days of Our Lives Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) almost died after having a heart attack in the park. Gabi Dimera (Camilla Banus) made the mistake of not believing that Julie was sick and essentially left her to die. To Gabi’s credit, she cannot be blamed because Julie had done this before. How was Gabi to know she was sick? However, the subsequent story of Gabi donating Stefan’s heart and controlling Julie pacemaker is just too ridiculous. It makes no sense what so ever that Gabi would want to destroy the one part of her husband that still exists. Furthermore, how stupid would she have to be to risk going back to prison yet again and leaving her daughter? This story needs to go but it’s not the top one.
DOOL Spoilers – Ciara Brady Trying To Save Ben Weston
Days of Our Lives Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is in prison, on death row, for murdering his sister. Unfortunately, Ben didn’t do this. However, it seems that every other episode Ciara is trying to save Ben from something. Ciara’s constantly tries to reassure Ben of her love for him. And coddle the man worse than a newborn baby. Honestly, watching Ben and Ciara and seeing them compared to Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) is excruciating. There is no comparison. Bo was never a reformed serial killer. Bo was never in an institution. Ben will never compare to Bo in any way. This couple needs to have their own life and not be compared to one of Days’ greatest couples. Let Ciara save him or leave him in prison but end the monotony of this savior complex please.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Hope Brady As Princess Gina
Honestly, Days of Our Lives Hope grew up in Salem. Everyone in Salem knows Hope. How in the world could Hope have been Gina any length of time and someone not know it’s Gina and not Hope? Hope’s action have proven time and again that she is not herself. Someone please put us out of our misery and expose Hope so someone can save her from Rolf’s flash drive and apparent implant.

DOOL Spoilers – Steve Johnson As Stefano DiMera
This is the worst Days of Our Lives storyline this year and it’s not lasted two weeks yet. Stefano Dimera (formerly Joe Mascolo) died. Steve Johnson has been brainwashed before. To have Steve be Stefano is too much for a lot of fans. We saw Stefano die after Hope shot him. We saw Andre Dimera (Thaao Penghlis) find his body. To bring Stefano back in Steve’s body is not just out there, it is not right. Stefano, nor Steve would be ok with this story and fans certainly aren’t. This story has to win for the shortest but worst story of the year.

All the story lines now are boring, stupid and totally unreal for even a soap opera. and especially for the fans of the old DOOL.
ben and ciara i love no matter what their love for each other is so strong, they have a very strong connection. getting tired of gina story, dont like steve being brainwashed to think he is stephano. , he needs to be with kayla. love jen and jack. i have watched days for 49 yrs and have been a devoted fan. these r some storylines that i find disturbing, but the worst is recently is kate sleeping with steve as stephano
Enough – I keep checking back to see if Days has “returned” so that I can it watch again without shaking my head and laughing, pitiful.
you’re not alone, unfortunately there’s no returning, the new novice idiot writers have ruined DOOL, I was just down to reading, watched a few episodes, wish I hadn’t, pretty soon will stop reading even, just not worth my time
agree 100%, I’m pretty much done with DOOL, watching, reading spoilers and even commenting on here, just not worth my time… the new novice writers are here to stay, so I’m going to go…bye
Really makes you wonder if this mess will not turn out to be a alternate reality or nightmare for part of this time jump…it has gone too far into the sci-fi realm w/pacemaker controlled apps, brain chip implanting, returning people from the dead, idiot Kate walking around like Steve is Stefano. I’m sorry but, if Kayla doesn’t catch on quick…the show is alternate reality. She has even seen him w/two eyes before! Writers continue to insult long time viewers intelligence and are messing with icons such as Stefano, Steve, Steve/Kayla..that would be like messing with Erica Kane!
You’re right, I agree on all that you’ve said, but we must know that the soap we all once loved and looked forward to watching is gone and will never return or be the same. The writers that had us entertained are now old and have retired, so the new hired writers are young, and do not even know the history of DOOL or the characters history. This was their reason for the “time jump” but it backfired terribly as many of us fans/viewers can’t stand it. We also can’t stand old story lines that have been resurfacing, we call it recycled story lines, but then again these young new writers can only look at old tapes and try to write what they think we’d want to see or what they think DOOL was and is. Wrong, again, that ship has sailed, we don’t want to see Princess Gina, Dr. Rolf, or even Stefano (especially being played by Steven Nichols). I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, in an effort to keep DOOL somewhat how is used to be they should have hired a die hard fan or two to which they could have consulted. But the real sin is no more happiness at all in Salem and the soap now has become a combo of sci-fi & horror.
