Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – William Lucking Dead at 80

DOOL spoilers reveal that Lucking, who has also been credited as Bill Lucking, passed away on October 18, 2021. The actor left the earthly realm at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to Variety, Lucking’s friend and actor, Stephen Macht, shared the news on Facebook. Lucking’s wife, Sigrid Insull Lucking wrote in the obituary,

“Although William often played toughs and strongmen, in his actual life he was an elegant man with a brilliant intellect who loved to argue about politics and current affairs, discuss philosophy and physics and assert fine-pointed opinions about art and poetry.”

In 1981, Lucking appeared on Days of Our Lives for three episodes. The actor was cast to play Harry Chaney. However, he has a long list of projects attached to his name spanning several decades.

One of Lucking’s best-known roles was playing the part of Piermont “Piney” Winston on Sons of Anarchy. Lucking began that role in 2008 and last appeared in 2011.

More recently, Lucking appeared in Murder in the First, Switched at Birth, Sons of Anarchy: Farewell Piney, Sons of Anarchy: Happy Ending Roundtable, The Mentalist, Slipstream, Contraband and ER.
