Days of Our Lives has some amazing couples but old and new. Deciding on the Best Couple of 2019 was certainly challenging. Who deserves this title most?

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad Dimera and Abby Dimera

Days of Our Lives Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) and Abby Dimera (Kate Mansi) are an amazing couple. However, they left Salem in February and returned in November. Chad and Abby had their own spin-off series as well. Although they are an amazing couple, they really weren’t on screen enough to be considered our best couple.

DOOL Spoilers – Lani Price and Eli Grant

Days of Our Lives Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) were great together. Lani and Eli came together in a heartbreaking way. Mourning their son from a one night stand who died at birth was horrible. Grieving together helped them to realize their feelings and brought them together. However, Lani and Eli had their week points as well. Lani and Eli breaking up over her attachment to another child made them weak. Lani and Eli were good together but not the best couple in Salem.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Gabi Hernandez And Stefan DiMera

Days of Our Lives Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus) and Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash) didn’t start out as a love match at all. Gabi married Stefan to take Dimera Enterprises from him. However, Gabi got caught in her own trap when she fell in love with Stefan. Gabi and Stefan had to almost die before admitting their feelings for each other. Once Gabi and Stefan decided to make a go of their relationship, Stefan gets killed. At least at the present time, Stefan is presumed dead. Had these two been together longer onscreen this year, they would certainly be a contender for the Best Couple spot. However, Stabi ended to soon to make our top couple as well.

DOOL Spoilers – Doug Williams and Julie Williams

Days of Our Lives Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) have been onscreen for years. As time progresses, they have certainly had their ups and downs. Doug and Julie would certainly have been a candidate for Best Couple, especially during the heart transplant storyline. However, Doug and Julie are only seen a few times a year and not always together. This real-life married couple certainly makes their onscreen couple believable but there is one couple who edged them out of the top spot.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – John Black and Marlena Evans

Days of Our Lives’ top couple honors has to go to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). After Marlena’s shooting, no one was sure she would even survive. John moved heaven and earth to give Marlena time to recover. John and Marlena know each other’s thoughts, they finish each other sentences. John and Marlena are truly soul mates and always come through for each other. This iconic couple has what every other Days couple should have. Their chemistry, their love, their staying power, makes them the Days Couple of the Year.
