DOOL Spoilers – Preemption Dates Announced

DOOL spoilers reveal that the Winter Olympics begin airing on NBC on Friday, February 4, 2022. The soap will not resume airing new episodes until Monday, February 21, 2022. That’s a total of 11 episodes and just over two weeks’ worth of programming. In the month of February, viewers will only get to see the NBC soap for a total of nine episodes.

Even though some viewers enjoy watching the Winter Olympics, others don’t see why it is prioritized over soaps. Well, NBC has been airing the sporting event since the late 80s and that’s not going to change anytime soon. The network holds the rights to air the Olympics until 2032.

As for what makes the Olympics such a big deal for the network, that’s because of money. A massive number of people tune in to watch the Olympics each year. Companies pay millions to advertise during the annual event. Plus, NBC paid over $7 billion to be able to broadcast the event until 2032.
