Days Of Our Lives Preview Dec 22-26: Doug’s Ornament, Thomas’ Miracle, Eli & Lani Return

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for the week of December 22, 2025. It shows Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) remembering Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) receives a Christmas miracle.

Plus, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) return to Salem for the holidays. Keep reading, and let’s talk about what is coming up in the Peacock soap opera.

Doug Williams’ Ornament

Let’s start off with Doug’s ornament. Julie has her annual Horton family ornament hanging ceremony. Even if someone is no longer around, their ornament gets hung from the Christmas tree.

In the preview clip for next week, Julie remembers the love of her life as she stares at his ornament on the tree.

Eli Grant & Lani Price Grant Return

Julie will be surrounded by her loved ones, so she won’t have to go through this alone. In fact, as Julie stares at Doug’s ornament, she gets a reassuring double hug from Eli and Lani. 

There isn’t any information on Eli’s stint, but we do know something about Lani. It is teased that she will be there for JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss). Christmas is going to be hard for Abigail DiMera’s (last played by Marci Miller) loved ones.

Lani and JJ have a long history, both as police partners as well as romantic partners. Lani knows what it feels like to lose a loved one and also knew Abigail. 

Thomas DiMera’s Christmas Miracle

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in light of Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) disappearances, Julie postpones Christmas. However, it seems that Thomas will get a miracle.

The preview clip shows Chad sitting in Doug’s chair as Thomas sings Silent Night. In a nice moment, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) sit with Chad, Thomas, and Julie. I wonder if Thomas will change his mind about wanting to move to Boston with Jack and Jennifer.

Thomas was angry with his father, but never wanted anything to happen to him. With Chad and the other DiMeras facing Death’s Door, could there be a truce with JnJ?

Eli, Lani, Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) can also be seen in the preview clip. They all  have a lot to be thankful for despite all of their personal and business struggles, so stay tuned!
