Days Of Our Lives Preview Week Of Apr 20: Chad Returns, Health Crisis, Theo’s Journal

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for the week of April 20, 2026. It shows Chad DiMera (now played by Conner Floyd) returning.

Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) needs to get a mammogram immediately. Plus, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) accidentally reads Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) journal. Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the Peacock soap opera.

Lani Price Grant’s Reunion

Let’s start from the beginning of the weekly preview clip. First up, we see an excited Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) surprising Chanel.

While Chanel is always happy to see Lani, she has a lot going on right now. It is teased in the written spoilers that Chanel will confide in Lani about her current issues.

Sarah Horton’s SOS

Over at the hospital, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) checks out Chanel. While Sarah will try to stay cool in front of Chanel and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), she will panic once outside the door. At the nurses’ station, Sarah tries to schedule Chanel a mammogram immediately.

Chad DiMera Returns

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of April 20 reveal that Chad will come back with the kids. In Horton Town Square, Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) excitedly tells her father to look. Charlotte points to Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).

Theo Carver’s Journal

Fans know that Theo mentioned writing his feelings, which has helped him process. However, Theo also told Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that he’d be embarrassed for anyone to read his thoughts. 

It seems that Theo leaves his journal out and Gabi reads it. This could either destroy their friendship, or bring them closer.

Leo Stark’s Investigation

As for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he questions Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien). The  man will wonder what Gwen knows since she lived in EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) mansion for months. Will she spill once EJ gives her the boot?

Kristen DiMera’s Demand

Over with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), she gives Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) orders. On the phone, Kristen demands that the task happens tomorrow. “No emotion, no mess,” she says. Sophia might be a schemer with mental issues, but will she really kill Johnny?

Alex Kiriakis’ Past

As for Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), he gets a blast from the past when Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) shows up at his door. Will she have the baby with her, too?
