DOOL spoilers for the week of December 30 reveal that the preview clip shows Tate and Sophia are both surprised by Amy. Sophia’s mother shows up and tells Sophia that she is having the baby.

As Sophia’s jaw drops, Amy drops another bombshell. Amy says that Tate and Sophia are going to raise the baby together, and that’s that.

After Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) learns about Sophia’s pregnancy, she has a talk with Tate. In the preview clip, Tate asks Holly if they are still okay. Holly shoots Tate a glare and it is clear all is NOT okay! Later, Holly ends up connecting with Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer).

Next week, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) share a kiss. Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) smooches Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) as a distraught Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) watches.

Jada and Belle Black (Martha Madison) have fun dancing as they ring in the new year at the DiMera mansion. However, Johnny and Chanel’s New Year’s Eve party won’t end well.

Joy has yet another freak-out. Instead of just quietly leaving the party unnoticed, Joy freaks out to Johnny in JANEL’s bedroom. That is when Chanel comes in and demands to know the truth.

There is no covering it up this time. Chanel hears enough and knows something happened between Johnny and Joy. So, can this marriage survive all the deception and lies?

Arnold snorts when EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) asks Gabi who invited her to the party. Plus, Alex and Joy make out.
