Sarah Horton’s Outrage
The Days of Our Lives promo for the week of July 27 opens with a scene at the hospital. EJ is visiting Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), only for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to storm in.
Sarah is outraged as she tells EJ, “I thought I told you to stay away from Holly!” Holly is young, but far from a minor, so does Sarah have the power or authority to demand something like this?
As scenes shift, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is with Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford). The two are in an embrace as Abe tells a very emotional Lexie that he loves her.
She replies, with tears in her eyes, “I love you too, Abe.” Meanwhile, Kirsten is shown being shoved in a DiMera storage box, looking frantic. It looks like the two ladies won’t be able to swap places, after all!

Ari Horton Is Onto Joy Wesley’s Game?
Across town, Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) are in Brady’s Pub, saying goodbye. Joy smiles at Alex when all of a sudden, she hears clapping.
When the camera pans, Arianna “Ari” Horton (Vico Escorcia) is at a table near the bar, sarcastically clapping for her. Is Ari onto Joy’s game?
Speaking of Ari, her mom, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), will be talking to Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). It sounds like she no longer thinks he or Xander Kiriakis are responsible for the Gabi Chic counterfeit bags, but someone at DiMera.

As the Days of Our Lives weekly promo wraps up, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) hands Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) a piece of paper in his office.
He asks what it is, and she replies, “Gwen Rizczech’s written confession”. Can they nab EJ with Gwen’s letter?
As the preview closes, Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) is with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). It sounds like Leo may know where Gwen is.
Chad asks, “How are you so sure it’s Dimitri [von Leuschner – Peter Porte] who took her?” Leo replies, “Because I texted him to see if he knew where she was and this was his reply …” Leo shows Chad something on his phone, and the video fades.
