It is teased that ELANI will come back to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families. Of course, now Doug has passed away, so it will be a bittersweet reunion.

Eli and Lani will do whatever they can to help Julie and the entire Horton family through this. Eli and Lani will also mourn. They loved Doug, too. Lani reaches out to hug Eli. However, we also know from the “Days of Days” 2024 promo that Eli asks Julie what he can do to best help her.

Next week, fans can also expect Kayla to share some shocking news with Marlena. Just as Marlena has news about John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to share with Kayla, the good doctor informs the psychiatrist about Doug’s passing.

At the end of the preview clip, there is a touching scene with Julie saying a final goodbye to Doug. As a sheet covers Doug, Julie fingers his wedding ring, then kisses his hand. It is going to be a tearjerker, so get your tissues ready!
