Days Of Our Lives Preview Week Of October 5: Sophia’s Alive, Joy’s Caught, Rachel’s Medical Crisis

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that the preview for the week of October 5 has been released. Fans can expect to see Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) very much alive, while Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) gets caught.

Plus, Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) is blindsided. Read on to learn more about the drama set to go down in Salem next week.

Dante Vitali Is Back

Days of Our Lives’ promo for the week of October 5 starts with a scene of Sydney in the DiMera mansion. She’s preoccupied on her laptop when Dante Vitali (Franco LoPresti) catches her off guard.

Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) fiancé tells Sydney, “Working hard as usual, I see,” with a grin on his face. It seems like these two have more than just a stepdaughter/stepfather relationship, so is there more to this story?

Speaking of Sydney, the next scene shows her brother, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), telling Belle Black (Martha Madison) that he knows what his father is capable of, better than anyone!

Johnny and Belle are at the police station as he gives an official statement. Yikes, Johnny is going all in when it comes to bringing EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) down!

Rachel Black’s Medical Crisis

Over at the hospital, Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) is in a room with her dad, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

Rachel is aching in pain as Brady promises that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will take really good care of her. This is when Rachel cries out that the only person she wants is her mother.

Meanwhile, Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) is outside of Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) door. She can hear little Kelsey Kiriakis (Mira and Lena Chase) crying.Stephanie knocks on the door, calling out to Joy to see if she needs any help.

Joy hears her and gets up from her wheelchair, just as Stephanie opens the door. Will Stephanie see Joy on her feet and realize she’s not paralyzed?

Sophia Choi’s Alive!

As the Days of Our Lives weekly preview wraps up, Sophia is shown in a diner. She’s in a waitress uniform, and her hair is a little lighter.

As she approaches her next customer and welcomes them to Kay’s Diner, she introduces herself as ‘Amelia’, and Sophia has a little Southern accent to her voice.

Sophia’s customer, hiding behind the menu, is none other than Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). Kristen pulls the menu down to reveal herself, noting, “Should I say, Sophia?” Sophia looks completely gob smacked!
