Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and recap for Wednesday, April 29, 2020, reveals Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) tells Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) that they can’t save his eye. Kayla gives him a patch, he thanks her for holding onto it. Kayla asks Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) to leave while she cleans Steve’s wound.

Days of Our Lives Recap – Kayla Helps With Steve’s Patch

Kayla is one of the few people who have seen his eye. Steve knows how hard it is to look at it. Kayla could never have trouble looking at Steve. Kayla has Steve set up and she cleans his wound. Steve thanks Kayla for her help. Kayla asks how Steve is doing. Steve is ready for the next chapter. Steve puts on his patch. Kayla says he’s his old self again. Steve can’t quite believe he is his old self again.

Steve says he is haunted by who he was and what he did. Kayla tells Steve it’s over, he says not for him. Steve keeps have images of what he did as Stefano. Kayla wants him to forgive himself and that in the past. Kayla tells Steve he has to forgive himself. Hope interrupts them. Hope offers to leave, Kayla stops her. Kayla goes to get the paperwork ready for Steve’s release. Hope tells Steve it must be a relief to be getting out of there. Steve doesn’t want to impose on anyone, he doesn’t belong anywhere. Hope knows how Steve feels. Hope and Steve tell Kayla he is staying with her.

Days of Our Lives’ Zoey Burge (Kelly Thiebaud) wants answers from Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly). Christian says he and his dad did something horrible. Christian tells his sister what they did. Orpheus pressured Christian into helping. Zoey tells Christian she can’t say anything because it would make matters worse for the custody hearing. Zoey has to go to the courthouse. Christian tells Zoey that Orpheus cannot find out that she knows, he could turn on him.

Orpheus is glad that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) got what he deserves. Orpheus tells John he won’t forgive himself if something happens to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Orpheus offers to make a call for Brady and fix things. John asks what Orpheus wants in return. Orpheus says they will speak soon. Zoey leaves for the courthouse. Orpheus asks if Zoey is pressuring Christian. Orpheus has laid the groundwork for some help. John thinks he should play along with Orpheus to find out what he is up to.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers 2020 – Jack Talks To Abby About Her Illness

Days of Our Lives’ Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) tells Abby Dimera (Kate Mansi) that she was drugged. Gabi and Chad assume Gabi did this. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) asks who would have drugged Abby. Abby and Chad tell Jack how Gabi acted at Julie’s. Jack wants to call the cops, Chad stops him. Gabi and Jack discuss her mental illness and recovery.

Jack doesn’t understand what happened between Abby and Gabi. Abby says she and Gabi never recovered from her falling in love with Chad. Abby tells Jack about Gabi and Chad. Abby says later Gabi went to prison over Andre Dimera (Thaao Penghlis). Abby talks about Gabi gaslighting her. Jack apologizes for not being there for Abby. Jack tells Abby she’s always been strong. Abby explains to Jack that Chad will defend her no matter what.

DOOL Recap – Rafe Refuses To Help Gabi

Days of Our Lives’ Gabi arrives at the police station and tells Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that she did something and needs help. Gabi says she broke the lock on Gabi’s Place. Gabi wanted her personal belongings. Rafe thinks she did something else. Rafe tells Gabi it is always someone else’s fault when she gets in trouble. Chad says he has lost his job and gone to jail for her.

Rafe screams at Gabi to stop, he cannot take anymore. Rafe tells Gabi she cannot keep running to him to bail her out. Chad accuses Gabi of drugging Abby. Gabi says she didn’t drug Abby. Chad shows Rafe the proof that Abby was drugged. Chad tells Rafe that Gabi grabbed Abby’s drink and had time to spike the drink.

Rafe cannot charge Gabi with a crime at this point. Rafe asks Gabi if she drugged Abby. Rafe insists that Gabi swears on her daughter’s life that she didn’t drug Abby. Zoey interrupts and tells Rafe his restraining order has been thrown out. Rafe says that is putting his child in danger. Rafe isn’t going to stop protecting that child. Zoey plans to win custody, Rafe wishes her good luck. Chad is determined to do something about Gabi. Gabi wants into the square and sees Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).
