Ever since Dr. Rolf (William Utay) found out that Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) is holding his flash drive hostage, he has wanted his property returned. It has also made him very angry. Since he can’t seem to get it back himself, he does the next best thing. He turns to Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), who has been transformed into Princess Gina.

Considering that she is the one that pushes Jennifer off a balcony, it is clear what the mad scientist reveals. It must be that Jennifer has stolen his flash drive, which contains Dr. Rolf’s sinister scientific secrets.

It was previously hinted that one Salemite would land in a coma that would last until after the time jump. At first, it was speculated that it was JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) since Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) attacked him. However, new information indicates that it must be Jennifer.

This is proven correct based on the new issue of Soap Opera Digest. It has an interview with Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux) that mentions the character is devastated over Jennifer’s comatose state.
