Days of Our Lives Rumor: Tragic Car Accident Takes Innocent Life – Rafe Impaired By Pain Meds To Blame?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) may cause the wreck which is said to result in tragedy soon on Days of Our Lives. The implication is that Rafe will disobey orders of his wife, Commissioner Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) in the search and attempted rescue of little Holly Jonas (Harlow and Scarlett Mallory), and going by other Days of Our Lives spoilers talking about a tragedy for Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) it seems to point to the tot being killed in the car accident.

Hope, Nicole, and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will race to the site of the accident but will make a horrific discovery. Other Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Rafe’s job will be compromised, so we know it’s not Rafe that is killed.

Of course there is always the possibility that she won’t be killed but severely injured, such as a broken back that would make the tiny tot a paraplegic, but it sounds like it will be death that befalls her. What kind of orders could Rafe disobey that would cause an accident with a fatality?

Days of Our Lives viewers will have noticed a scene in a recent episode where Lani Price (Sal Stowers), at Rafe’s apartment caring for baby David Ridgeway (the Ellis twins) mothers Rafe as well, making him take his pain medications. Rafe said he didn’t like to take the pain medications because they made him loopy; could it be that he rushes to help in the rescue of Holly in his car, gets her in the car, but crashes because he’s loopy from his pills?

Rafe may show up to help, and not be ready for duty, partly because his shoulder is still healing and partly because of being impaired from his pain medications. But loving children as he does, he may not take no for an answer; it’s a distinct possibility that this time he had taken his pills and is in no condition to drive.

It is not sure whether Rafe will chase someone else who has Holly in their car or whether Rafe has her in his car, but Hope will give some kind of direct order, possibly forbidding him to either give chase or drive to rescue Holly in his car, and because of his impairment either crashes his own car or crashes into the car he’s pursuing.
