So once the Devil is vanquished, it seems like it might be time for a brand new killer to set their sites on Salem. Abigail’s death is sure to bring shock waves into town on it’s own, but if its just the start, Salem will have to brace itself.

There likely won’t be a shortage of suspects in Abigail’s murder, especially if her death is just the first of many. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) may no longer be possessed by then, but who know how much his time in the Devil’s thrall has changed him. He may even turn out to be the prime suspect. But it is just as likely that someone completely unexpected with turn out to be the next Salem Serial Killer. Dr. Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) just became a full-fledged medical doctor and is the son of Salem good guy Steve Johnson (Stephan Nichols). If it turned out the he was killing people in Salem, it would shock the entire town. That’s why it is very likely that Tripp may snap, especially is Allie Horton (Linsey Arnold) leaves him.
