Days Of Our Lives Sal Stowers Stuns In PETA Vegan Lookbook

Days Of Our Lives Sal Stowers Stuns In PETA Vegan LookbookDays of Our Lives actress Sal Stowers (Lani Price DOOL) stuns in PETA’s ‘Free People’ Vegan lookbook, as one of the three high-profile models and influencers (the other two being Bryana Holly and Michelle Weinhofen) to grace the pages of said lookbook. As the demand for ethical fashion continues to grow, popular environmentally friendly brand Free People teamed up with PETA to present a 2017 summer fashion lookbook, focusing on the ‘increasing accessibility of animal-friendly options true to their unique styles’.

Free People has been one of the biggest rising brands in the ethical fashion space, competing with the likes of Reformation, People Tree, and Patagonia for brand awareness and market share, though Free People is considered – on average – more affordable than several other eco-friendly, sustainable, ethical fashion brands.

The headline from the lookbook announcement reads, “The every-woman brand Free People dedicates an entire section of its online store to cruelty-free designs and is always looking for kind and sustainable ways to help you get dressed, from vegan-leather strappy sandals and rocker jackets to viscose jumpers, microfiber crossbodies, rayon slips, and straw-boater or faux-suede hats.”

One of the most appealing factors of Free People is that is considered the ‘every-woman’ brand, and is more accessible than some of the higher-end eco-fashion brands. As such, it makes sense to advertise their partnership with PETA with actresses that are popular with the public, such as Days of Our Lives star Sal Stowers, as opposed to more ‘high-fashion’ models or faces that we wouldn’t necessarily recognize.

The lookbook is incredibly varied, and as their statement reads, it does contain a range of products from sandals to jackets to jumpers, even including hats and crossbodies. Free People is nothing if not thorough, and given their new partnership with PETA and their choice to utilize such high-profile celebrities and influencers, their brand awareness is likely going to jump through the roof – especially since they have already positioned themselves as the ‘every-woman’ friendly brand.

I love this! There is simply no reason to wear animals’ body parts nowadays. These models beautifully demonstrate that compassion is always in fashion!
