Days Of Our Lives: Scott and Melissa Reeves Share Exciting News!

Congratulations is in order for Scott and Melissa Reeves! Their daughter Emily is expecting her first child, which will give Scott and Melissa the new role as grandparents! Melissa is currently Jennifer Horton Deveraux on Days of Our Lives. Scott Reeves has formally been General Hospital’s Steven Webber and the Young and the Restless’ Ryan McNeil.

The happy soon to be grandparents both posted on their Instagram accounts about the happy news! They even revealed the cute nicknames they would like to be called by their grandchild, Sweet Mama and Papa G! Melissa and Scott have been married since 1990 and have raised their two children, daughter Emily and son Lawrence.

It seems that the soon to be grandparents have always been a fan of their son-in-law, Nate Smith, that has helped make them grandparents! When Nate was deployed to Iraq with his service in the United States Army, Melissa thanked him for his service on social media. Five months later, Nate and their daughter Emily were married!

In regards to the arrival of their grandchild, which will happen this July, the grandparents posted cute Instagram posts. Melissa Reeves wrote, “And baby makes 3💕❤️ baby smith ❤️ July 2020❤️ Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Psalm 127:3. ❤️ @scottreevesforreal and I are so darn excited!!!! Getting our papa G and Sweet Mama hearts ready for our first grandbaby❤️❤️❤️”

While Scott Reeves added, “Yes, it’s true! We are so excited to officially take the names Sweet Mama(@missyreeves) and Papa G(me)! Congrats to our amazing kids, @nate.smith02 and @emily.smith.music! We love you guys and can’t wait to meet the next generation!

Days Of Our Lives News – Congratulations Are In Order

The soon to be mom, Emily Smith, has been taking after her father by being following in his musical footsteps. Scott Reeves is not only a soap actor but has a long history as a musician as well! Scott has been a member of a duo called Blue Country since 2003.

He has also been a member of the band Port Chuck with General Hospital actors Steven Burton (Jason Morgan), Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), and Brandon Barash (Johnny Zacchara). Port Chuck recently had to cancel their upcoming tour due to a bad computer losing their songs! While this is sad news for Port Chuck fans, it is giving Scott some great time to be there for his daughter and soon to be grandchild!
