So, when Stefan found out that Gabi had a broken leg in prison, he understandably assumed it was a message from Clyde. That very well might be true, but he seems way too obvious right now.

With Tripp’s attack, Clyde called Ava even before she found out about the injury. Gabi was attacked yet Stefan hasn’t heard a word. So, it really might not have been Clyde that hurt Gabi.
