Been doing this a long time, but it’s been a minute. I’m excited. The cat will be out of the bag soon. All right, here we go!”

Some fans may recall that back in June 2023, Lowder made a slight career change, jumping into the role of KTVN 2 News Anchor in the Reno-Tahoe community.

Still, even though he’s got a full-time job that keeps him busy, this doesn’t mean the door isn’t open for a Rex Brady return.

As his IG Story teases three days of filming at a “Burbank” studio, fans can’t help but connect the dots that a Days stint is in the works.

His half-sister, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is headed back to the little town, too, so perhaps Rex is connected to her storyline.

Then again, fans know how gag-gag he is over Sarah Horton-Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey), so she could be the reason he’s decided to pay Salem a visit. Only time will tell.
