Days of Our Lives Spoilers: 3 Reasons Why Sami And Lucas Hook Up

Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that Lumi fans soon could be having a happily ever after. After all, this time is the writing on the wall that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) are about to reunite?
They once couldn’t get enough of each other and now they’re acting like they can’t stand each other. Is this a sign of a hot hookup about to happen or what?

Here are three reasons why we see a Lumi redo in the works.

#1 EJ DiMera Clearly Is Not Doing Well

The specter of an EJ DiMera recast gets dimmer with each passing year. There seems to be little inclination on the part of the show to recast the character and fans are so in love with the former portrayer James Scott that if there were another actor brought in to play Elvis, there might be a revolt. This week a huge clue about EJ’s state of health was dropped when Lucas sniped to Sami that she is hovering over what’s left of EJ! Ouch!

#2 They Must Join Forces To Save Their Grandson

Each passing day that Baby Horton goes without a real home, a forever family and a name make me so mad! The baby in question is Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold), and the fact that her parents are Sami and Lucas goes a long way toward explaining why she ran away from home after giving birth. Clearly she is in no shape to be a parent and her baby is now in the care of Sami who messed up Allie in the first place.

If Sami wants to keep the baby, she may need help, and hooking back up with her baby daddy (baby granddaddy?!) might go a long way toward convincing a court that she should be given custody.

#3 You Can’t Change History

There was a time when Sami would do anything in the world to be with her hunk Lucas. There is such history there! Right now the passion is burning between them, albeit in the form of venom and slapping. Still.

It would be poetic justice if after all these years these two crazy kids got it right and found their way back to each other, don’t you think? After all the obstacles that were put in their way, now is the perfect time to make up and hook up for the sake of the family they brought into this world.
