NBC Days Of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal while there’s no doubt that DOOL  fans were completely floored, shocked, surprised, angered and maybe even a little bit emotional over the news that actress Victoria Konefal is leaving the show, this might not be the worst news coming out of the soap world this year after all.

Sure, Victoria is one actress that has managed to carry the show for a very long time, but the timing might be just about right for her exit DOOL. Here are three reasons why.

#1 Does Ben Weston Really Deserve Ciara Brady?

For a lot of Days of Our Lives fans, they absolutely love Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara’s hot, passionate chemistry on the show but truth be told, Ben is someone that isn’t on Ciara’s level. Ciara comes from a life full of privilege while Ben was once known as the necktie killer in their town.

Yet, Ben and Ciara have been given their ‘happily ever after’ (or so we think), with Ben finally marrying the girl of his dreams. But does he really deserve her? Sure, a man can change but those killer instincts might still be there.

#2 Work In Salem Might Be Done

Let’s face it: Ciara is a smart cookie. At one point it almost seemed as though she was destined to take over her mother’s role as the lead investigator of the Salem Police Department. Days Of Our Lives Ciara has proven herself to be a very inquisitive and intelligent young woman and someone who has much more potential than what she has been given in Salem. Maybe because of her last name, her history, and her family connections, she just hasn’t been given the respect or the opportunities that she deserves. It might be high time for Ciara to leave this town and follow her dreams elsewhere.

#3 Upwards And Onwards For Victoria Konefal

What’s more, this might also be a good opportunity for actress Victoria Konefal to flex her acting strength elsewhere, or at lease beyond the daytime television world. It is without a doubt that Victoria is one of the most talented young actresses out there and that she’s got a lot of talent, charisma, and personality to go far in the entertainment world.

While she might be leaving Days of Our Lives, this doesn’t mean this will be the last we see of Victoria. Watch this space because we have a feeling that she’s just gotten started.
