Sal makes it no secret that she has a strong friendship with her DOOL co-star, Marci Miller (Abigail Deveraux). She told Soap Opera Digest, “Marci, I can cry just speaking about her. She has become one of my best friends. Her spirit, her aura, everything about her is so pure and authentic. We didn’t become friends instantly, it kind of just happened. Marci always brought her lunch — she never ate at the commissary. I think it kind of stemmed from there.”

#5 Sal Stowers Is Very Protective Of Lani Price

This also shouldn’t surprise anyone as Sal is very protective of her character, Lani Price. She always wants the best for her, even though she’s had to weather plenty of nasty storms in Salem.

Sal once put it this way, “I’m thankful for the job and I’m thankful for them giving me another run at this and really developing Lani into this amazing woman that she is. It was definitely a big switch from when I first got on the show until I came back.”
