Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) are shocked when MarDevil (Deidre Hall) shows up at their front door and begs them to run away with her and help her hide. MarDevil even feels desperate because most of Salem is onto her and that will hurt her ultimate plan — bringing Ben and Ciara’s baby into the world. Since they are the two people she is most concerned about, she has to make sure nobody gets to them and tells them the truth.

So, MarDevil says she is in danger because John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is abusing her. Of course, that is the most absurd thing in Ciara’s mind because how could gentle John abuse anyone, but Ben wants to believe her because he’s been through his own abuse at the hands of his father, Clyde Weston (James Read), and wants to take Marlena at her word. Plus, Marlena has been so good to him through the years and has been almost like a mother, how can he doubt her?

Still, Ciara isn’t so sure so MarDevil uses one of her old tricks to make Ciara sure and it works.

DOOL Spoilers – On The Run With The Devil

Once Ciara becomes a believer, MarDevil insists they go on the run right then and there lest they call anyone and learn about Thanksgiving at the Horton house, as Ciara’s brother, Shawn (Brandon Beemer), and grandparents, Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), sure have quite a tale to tell them. The devil even has the perfect remote hideout for them and gullible Ben and Ciara follow her there.

Of course, John is hot on MarDevil’s trail and even managed to escape doctors after his ordeal in the crypt to find his wife. Will he manage to get to Ben and Ciara before it’s too late?
