Days of Our Lives Kate covered for Stefano Dimera/Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). Dr. Rolf (William Utay) managed to help Stefano brainwash Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn). Chad almost killed several people because of Stefano. Abby has every right to hold a grudge against Kate but it is unlikely that she attacked her just over that. Abby probably sees someone other than Kate when she attacks her and realizes that she needs more help than she’s getting with just Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) as a therapist. Abby may realize that she needs to go back to Bayview for more intense treatment. Will Abby check herself into Bayview to get the help she needs?

Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings – Kate Mansi Is Leaving

Days of Our Lives’ Kate is leaving the show again and this could be the way they choose to write Abby out for a while instead of recasting the character. Days writers may need Abby offscreen for a little while as Kate works on another project. Kate has played Abby for some time, with a break while Marci Miller took over the roll. Hopefully, Kate isn’t leaving for a very long, and Chad and Abby will be back together soon.

Mental health issues run in Abby’s family. Abby may have much deeper issues and the drugging may just be the tip of the iceberg. However, Abby could very well end up in Bayview for an extended period of time. Will Abby get back home to Chad and her kids soon?
