Days of Our Lives Abby seems much more like her father-in-law, Stefano Dimera (ex-Joe Mascolo) than anyone these days. Abby has been through a lot with her mental breakdowns and her recently discovered cheating husband. However, Abby’s sister Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has her seeing red. Abby is determined to stop her sister by whatever means necessary after she has all but destroyed her family.

However, this is very unlike the Abby that fans know and love. Abby has always been about family and accepted most changes in her life fairly graciously. Gwen is a far different story. Is it because Gwen drugged her and slept with her husband Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) or have Rolf’s drugs changed something in Abby that she can never get back?

DOOL Spoilers – Abby Dimera Has Undergone Months Of Treatment

Days of Our Lives Abby left town and has undergone months of treatment before returning to Salem. However, Abby did not stay the full time that her doctor recommended to make sure she was ok. Of course, upon her return, Abby found her husband with Gwen in his arms and that didn’t settle well at all. Things continued to get worse as Gwen pushed to break up Abby’s family while taking care of her children. Children who, according to Gwen, had started questioning their mother’s love for them when she went back to work. Abby had always made time for her kids but Gwen’s interference made it seem like she wanted nothing to do with them at all. Unfortunately, Abby seemed unmoved by Gwen’s words. Was Gwen lying or do Abby’s children doubt her love for them because she is never around?

Days of Our Lives Abby was so desperate to get rid of Gwen that she enlisted Gabi Dimera (Camila Banus) help to do so. The same woman that Abby accused of drugging her in the first place. Unfortunately, Gabi had to be the voice of reason or Abby would have given Gwen the drug that has turned her life upside down. If Gwen had not been turned loose, Abby may have killed her. Abby has still vowed to stop Gwen no matter what it takes. Is there any way to bring Abby back to reality?
