Normally in an out-of-the-body experience, the former couple discusses their relationship but the one who returns is encouraged to move on. Why was there no conversation about Paulina Price (Jackee Harry)?

As a part of the celebration of James’ forty years on Days Of Our Lives, we saw several flashbacks of Abe and Lexie’s relationship. However, Abe never told Lexie about Paulina. Abe and Lexie never discussed his grandchildren. Abe was simply determined to go back and be there for his family. Should Lexie not be encouraging Abe to move on with his life until it is time for him to join her in the afterlife? Why would the writers not have Lexie telling Abe why his life should go on? Shouldn’t Lexie be happy that Abe found love again after all this time?

DOOL Spoilers – Abe’ Carver’s Children Are Grown

Days of Our Lives’ Abe says he needs to be here for his kids. However, Abe’s children are grown. Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) is grown and lives in another country. Brandon Walker (formerly Matt Cedeno) doesn’t live in Salem and is usually unreachable. Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) is the only child who lives near Abe and she isn’t really his child. It is very strange that the woman in Abe’s life was not discussed at all. Is this oversight foreshadowing of what is to come? After the powers that be planning to break up Abe and Paulina after all?

With no mention of the future with Paulina, Days of Our Lives fans have to wonder if Abe is going to lose both Lani and the children as well as Paulina. After all, Paulina promised Abe there would be no more secrets, and yet she is still lying to him and Lani. Lani is bound to be devastated to learn that Abe isn’t her father and could set out to find her real father. Paulina could end up going back to Miami after breaking Abe’s heart. Is Abe’s family about to be blown apart instead of united as he wants? Could Abe lose half of his family because of Paulina’s lies?

Abe is going to have to do some soul searching when the truth comes out. However, it would have made sense for Abe and Lani to have discussed his future. Why were such important details left out? Why would Lexie not offer her blessing to Abe in his new life?
