The fall preview in Soap Opera Digest confirms that Abe proposes to Paulina. The mayor certainly is zooming ahead with this relationship. Abe and Paulina don’t know each other very well. They don’t even live together and Abe literally just forgave her for lying about Horton Town Square. Abe might not want to waste any time now that he’s older, but there is so much that is unknown about Paulina.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Abe and Paulina will excitedly share their engagement news. Paulina will have to get to work on planning her wedding. The real estate mogul seems the type that would love wedding planning. However, she might not get much joy out of this due to her intensifying guilt. Executive producer Ken Corday told Soap Opera Digest,

“Paulina fights the temptation to reveal she’s Lani’s mother, but her guilt starts to get the best of her, especially after Abe proposes.”

Abe thinks that Lani is his daughter and deserves to know the truth. It probably won’t change Abe and Lani’s relationship. However, Abe will find out eventually and it’s never good for a marriage to start off with a lie.
