Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Why Would Clyde Spend Time In Prison For A Crime He Didn’t Commit?
The question as to why Clyde would plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit is an excellent one-at the time, he was trying to go straight and planning to marry.
That’s not saying that he didn’t really tell Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) Abigail was alive to avoid having his brains blown out as supposed.
It would seem that poor Abigail really was graveyard dead-Chad’s the one who found her stabbed in their bed, and his intention was to take him out to begin with.
Clyde had an alibi-camera footage from a nearby business showed him fishing at the supposed time of Abigail’s attack.
Is Clyde really technology savvy enough to hack into security cameras and change the time of recording-that’s doubtful, but one of his former crime buddies certainly is!

DOOL Spoilers – What Happened To Clyde’s Friendship With Orpheus?
The last time Clyde was busted out of Statesville Orpheus (George DelHoyo) was responsible-he hacked the whole city of Salem’s systems, including the Salem PD’s!
So why did Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), her cousins, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) have to break him out this time-why not Orpheus?
Might Orpheus and Clyde have a falling out-and Orpheus wanted to frame Clyde for some kind of revenge, or some other devious plot-Orpheus would know how to hack the security footage!
Nothing’s been mentioned of him in the last couple of years, but nothing’s been said Orpheus was transferred from Statesville, either-he’d taken Clyde’s place as the prison boss back then.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Anything Could Have Happened
Anything could have happened during that time that could have ticked off Orpheus enough to frame Clyde.
With Clyde trying to go straight, with his claims of being changed by a good woman’s love-namely Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) perhaps Orpheus feared Clyde would expose his secrets!
Abigail’s diary entries indicated that she was investigating Clyde’s drug business, but long before that Orpheus, Clyde and EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) were working together-Abigail and family lived in EJ’s house!
But one thing is for sure-the drug lord of Possum Kingdom, Missouri wouldn’t have the technological know-how to hack into anything but a moonshine still!
Even when false leads were given on the imprisonment location of Ava and Steve’s son and his girlfriend, Rebecca Goldman (Kristy St. John) had to do that!
