Recently, fans watched as Sloan paid a visit to Paulina. Right now, Paulina is trying to get elected as governor. So, any kind of scandal or secret could jeopardize that. Even more concerning is how Sloan’s intel will affect Chanel.

When Chanel got into big trouble during her college years, Paulina did what was necessary to protect her family. Paulina will do anything for her children and Chanel was a wild child. Paulina didn’t immediately give into Sloan’s blackmail. However, Paulina did tell Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) about it.

Later, Paulina informed Chanel that she was being blackmailed over her college scandal. So, now Chanel is worried about what that means for her future.

Alex is the type of guy that will want an explanation in exchange for his silence. That is when Stephanie could tell Alex what is going on with Paulina, Chanel and Sloan. In fact, Alex might even offer his help to Stephanie.
