Sweeney’s new project debuts in 2022. For now, her DOOL character is not having as much fun as her upcoming movie character appears to be.

Sami is once again in the weeds, which seems to be her standard operating procedure. She was lucky to get out of a murder charge after she confessed to killing Charlie Dale (Michael Manning). That wasn’t her smartest move, but then again, Sami is better known for her impulsivity than her IQ.

What Happens Next To Sami Brady?

Now that she is out of the whodunit mess she has another sticky wicket to deal with—of her own making of course. Sami and her baby daddy Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) have seen fit to have another romp in the hay. Except that she is married and was caught out by Kristin DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). Oops.

For now, Sami is at her fake MIL’s mercy, being blackmailed so that she won’t blab about her indiscretion. Sami was charged with hooking up Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Lucas and she came up with a classic Sami scheme. For now, Lucas is pretending to have a brain tumor to keep Chloe close. Of course, all this subterfuge is gaining traction, and Chloe is looking for a brain expert to treat Lucas.

Explosive show spoilers reveal that Sami and Lucas will have to resort to devious tactics to keep the con going but at the same time will find themselves in danger. This sounds like a terrific May Sweeps plot so don’t change that dial DOL fans!
