After speaking with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), Allie apologized to Johnny and Chanel. Intending on being supportive of Chanel’s marriage, she is blown away and furious over what Johnny does next.

DOOL Spoilers – Chanel Dupree’s Heartbreak

Johnny ends up breaking Chanel’s heart, just as Allie predicted. However, it happens in the cruelest way. Johnny doesn’t break up with Chanel privately or give her any clue that he doesn’t want to be with her. Instead, he publicly humiliates Chanel by announcing it at their wedding reception. Of course, viewers know that it’s not Johnny who does this, but “Jo-Devil.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Chanel runs out of the wedding reception and Allie chases after her. Once Allie catches up with her best friend, she comforts her. That leads to a kiss, then the two take their passion to the bedroom. Allie wakes up the next morning to find Chanel in bed with her. Even though it felt totally natural to Allie the night before, now she finds herself confused.

There is also one other problem in addition to Allie’s confused feelings. What does she tell Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams)? Allie will have to explain where she went after leaving the wedding reception. Tripp will want to know what happened. When he suddenly calls, Allie thinks fast.

DOOL Spoilers – Lying to Tripp Johnson

It is teased in the new issue of Soap Opera Digest that Allie doesn’t tell Tripp the truth. Instead, she lies to him. Actress Lindsay Arnold told Soap Opera Digest,

“She says that Chanel was very upset, but that she went home. She doesn’t tell Tripp what actually happened. Allie is torn between the two of them and what they both represent. There’s that safe, stable life with Tripp that’s very secure. Then there’s Chanel, who’s very unpredictable and passionate, but maybe a little less safe. [Being with Chanel] is more dangerous and makes Allie look at parts of herself that she wouldn’t have to look at if she stayed with Tripp.”
